You will be given an aftercare card after each appointment as well as an automatic aftercare advice package when you fill out your consent form with us, and as always feel free to ask any questions!

Tattoo Healing Process

The healing process of a tattoo is essential for the outcome. It is important to keep the tattoo clean, moisturized, and protected from direct sunlight during the healing period to ensure vibrant and long-lasting results.

Avoid - sun beds, sun exposure, soaking the tattoo e.g baths, saunas or swimming, as well as no harsh or scented moisturisers.
The main steps to help heal you tattoo is to keep it clean- giving it a gentle wash with a fragrance free soap, pat dry with a soft towel then moisturise generously allowing to dry. Repeat these steps as often as needed, making sure your tattoo stays clean and moisturised. I recommend anything gentle and fragrance free.

 Piercing Care

Body piercings require special attention during the healing process. Follow the aftercare instructions provided to avoid infections and promote proper healing.

Use only sterile saline solution to clean your piercings, recommended twice a day, once in the morning - and once in the evening. Avoid products that can irritate e.g makeup/scented moisturiser/hair products and be mindful of the area to avoid bumping the fresh piercing, ouch! Avoid touching the piercing especially with dirty hands and do not pick or scratch at any crusties, best bet is to soak off any debris with sterile saline solution.

If at any point you become concerned with the healing of your piercing please feel free to contact me using the contact channels provided and I can advise you further. Happy healing!
